Sun has lived in Fiji as well as the Australian states of Tasmania, New South Wales, and Queensland, most recently settling in Brisbane, Queensland.Employed as a credit analyst for the past 6 years, Sun's interest in food is longstanding, beginning in childhood, where cooking food was seen as an offering to God, and communal meals were common. Due to her upbringing, Sun was a vegetarian until a trip to Paris in 2009, where she discovered meat, and made a decision to continue eating it.In 2011 Sun entered the third season of MasterChef Australia, hoping ultimately to use her Journalism degree in the food industry.
