Steven Quartermain was born in 1960 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. In 1980, he began his career in the media as a cadet reporter with Leader Association Newspapers before moving to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, where he worked for three years as a radio and television journalist. In December 1984, Steven moved to Channel 10 where he has worked consistently for the past twenty years. He considers his career highlights to be commentating on the 1988 Seoul Olympics, the 1989 Ashes Tour of England, and the 1989 Wimbledon Tournament. In his personal life, Steven has been married twice. His first wife, Julie, is a former model with whom he has a son named Jack (born in 1995). He recently married his second wife, Paige. Steven currently lives in Melbourne and continues to work as a football broadcaster for Channel 10. He can also be seen reading the sports report on the news. Show less «
