Stephen Haynes, Actor (born 1963 England UK). Raised in London, Stephen's first job was as Runner for a film/tv/radio Post-Production & Trailers Co based at Wardour Street in Soho, a good insight and initial experience of film entertainment & media. With the opportunity to participate in the internationally diverse culture on offer, while working for a busy company who did promotionals for Scum (1979), Alien - Le 8ème passager (1979), Quadrophenia (1979), Breaking Glass (1980), Flash Gordon (1980), Rien que pour vos yeux (1981), Les Aventuriers de l'arche perdue (1981) & many others.He started acting in 1980's at the British Theatre Association that had a practice studio and library collection, performing in 'Peer Gynt' by Henrik Ibsen, adaptation by Michael Meyer. He also worked as a film/tv background actor on Fortunes of War (1987) & Game, Set, and Match (1988). In 1987/8 he was accepted for drama school but due to the incomplete processing of an education grant had to stop training. In 1990's he performed in various London fringe theatre productions and worked briefly as Assistant Stage Management at the White Bear Theatre in Kennington (production of 'The Ginger Man' by J.P. Donleavy) and at the Jermyn Street Theatre in Piccadilly for its opening in 1994 (various productions). He also worked on films The Innocent Sleep (1995) & Breathe Safely (1998) then joined the Spotlight(.com) Actors directory in 1997.Attending drama courses in London at The City Lit, Holborn Centre For The Performing Arts and Kensington & Chelsea College while auditioning for full-time drama school. In 2000 he was accepted at Drama Studio London, completing his training with a showcase presentation of 'Three Birds Alighting On A Field' by Timberlake Wertenbaker at The Criterion Theatre London and he graduated 2001, becoming a member of Equity(.org.uk) Actors union.
