Brooklyn born and bred, Stephen Cofield Jr. is the consummate entertainer. With an academic background, innate sense of humor, and a passion for the business, he brings a variety of skills to the table.Stephen began his career as a dancer, traveling throughout the NY Tri-State area on several college tours and performing on Brooklyn Public Network Television (formerly BCAT). Towering at a fit and slender six-foot-four frame, modeling was an easy transition for him, as dance taught him much about angles, his body positioning and working the space he's given. In addition to dancer and model, Stephen added college graduate to his resume, completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.Intent on creating an opportunity to make a larger impact through art, Stephen forayed his natural sense of humor and his uncanny ability to tap into the human experience into acting. Stephen studied the Stanislavsky method with Maria Riboli Acting School and has taken countless improv courses and workshops. Ever growing and improving, he continues to be a student of the craft, which has paid off for him by way of several roles in independent short and feature films that have shown at BET's Urban World, the San Francisco Black Film Festival, the Langston Hughes African American Film Festival, and the Pan-African Film Festival to name a few. He has also done commercials for major brands including Microsoft, Reebok and BET, theatrical work in the genres of both drama and comedy, along with print work that includes top companies such as And1, GANT and Hawke & Dumar.At a time when the industry is saturated with dreamers, Stephen Cofield Jr. sets himself apart by being a doer. He continues to do the work and reap the results, staying ever humble and hungry for more.
