Stephanie Christiaens is a talented young actress who's no stranger to the theatre world, and has in the last few years, managed to crack her way into the film world.Having had the chance to work with a local writer/director Jason Armstrong on her first major role as Kristen Chalmers in 48 Hours in Purgatory (2009), Stephanie gained a thirst for more work in film. She started out as most actresses do, appearing on-stage in various community theatre shows, doing murder mysteries, special character appearances at fundraisers and conventions, and background for film and television. It never seemed to be quite enough though. She thrived in the community theatre world, yet only gaining the occasional small role in independent movies or trailers. It wasn't until she sent in a spoof audition tape to a producer she connected with on one of her last jobs, and was offered the role of 'Nancy' in the short film 'The Post Lifers'.Stephanie's main goal is to connect with audiences watching her and strike up emotion within them. She feels if you can leave an audience with the feeling of being moved in some way, you've done your job and there's nothing more rewarding.
