Spain Willingham has been involved in acting since he was 5 years old. After studying at various creative theatres and a few summers at Stagedoor Manor, Spain began his sketch comedy career while attending Film School in Chicago. The troupe was modestly successful, and upon graduating from Columbia College Chicago he moved to San Francisco where he made his first feature length film, "the Pure Party." It was an experimental way to shoot a film; no script, all improv based. A year later Spain wrote the screenplay to "First World Problems" and also Directed, Stared and Funded. The film is a comedy-meta horror and is very ambitious. More features are on the horizon as Spain is always writing several new screenplays. Spain is working on a new film titled "Beast/Mode" which he hopes to release in 2013. He now lives in Hollywood, California. Show less «
