Sophie Hood was born November 9th 2000 in Los Angeles California. She has been taking acting classes at The Deborah Lemen Acting for five straight years, moving from from beginning workshops for teens to master classes for adults. Over that time she has acted in numerous short films, on-camera workshops, and school plays. Her first lead role was in the short film Redtop in 2013. She lives with her parents , screenwriter Sean Hood and music clearance specialist Micki Stern, and she is an only child (other her cat Trixie and dog Luna, who demand quite a lot of her attention) Now an eighth-grader at The Buckley School, Sophie enjoys reading novels, doing advanced mathematics, watching movies, playing trumpet, and spooking adults with her deadpan irony.
