SILVANA PHILIPPOUSSIS Biography Silvana Philippoussis is a highly sought after, vivacious, passionate model and actor based between Melbourne and California.The Romanian born, exotic goddess is described as "Melbourne's favorite model" and is more beautiful in person.She launched her career at the Melbourne Fashion Festival in 1999 and from then on has been dominating the most prestigious runways, magazines and campaigns in major cities all over the world. Silvana has worked in New York, Los Angeles, Panama, Auckland, Singapore, Shanghai, London and Hong Kong. She is constantly booked by major department stores like David Jones. Furthermore, she has shot with some of the biggest names in Australian fashion including: J'Aton, Sass & Bide, Camilla and Marc, Scanlan & Theodore, Collette Dinnigan, Toni Maticevski, Lisa Ho, Alanah Hill, Bettina Liano, Josh Goot and International labels such as Oscar De La Renta, Louis Vuitton, Giorgio Armani, Versace, Gucci, Hugo Boss and Chanel.Silvana has extensive training in acting and has appeared in films such as The Muppets Most Wanted and PINBALL, as well as played The Beast on the US series of Wilfred.She has immersed herself in intensives and master classes at well-respected institutions such as the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), and has taken courses with industry professionals such as Ivana Chubbuck and Margie Haber in Los Angeles.Silvana features frequently on TV commercials and has played hero and lead roles for Target, Crown Casino, Holden and featured in commercials for Myer, Holeproof underwear and Cadbury.Amongst her credentials, Silvana was selected to study in the prestigious course "Bachelor Of Fashion Design" at RMIT University City Campus in Melbourne, Victoria.The creativity doesn't just stop there with Silvana though, more recently she has transferred her imagination to canvas as a painter creating beautiful pieces of artwork.
