Born in Ahvaz, in the Khuzestan province in Southwest Iran to Iranian renowned Taekwondo fighter Alireza Hassanalipour and his mother, Elisa. Sia moved to Belgium when he was 7, before moving and ultimately settling in London in 2007.Sia started training in Taekwondo at the age of 6 under his father, and has continued to train his entire life. His father kept him focused solely on Taekwondo until he became 16 years old, and only then was allowed to expand his knowledge into different Martial Arts. He quickly became passionate and expanded his knowledge onto Boxing, Wing Chun, traditional Weapon Skills, Gymnastics and Tricking. The extensive traditional Taekwondo background made it easy for Sia to pick up new skills quickly.Sia's screen career made a start in 2012 when casting directors found him at a charity event titled: "Martial Arts and the Mind". They invited him onto Hollywood blockbuster film Kick-Ass 2 (2013) to be part of the action performers, so that he could witness the industry first hand. After that came a world of new opportunities in the form of fight/action work and stunt performing. Wanting to become an established dramatic Actor, he went off to meet mentors and train himself seriously.After the filming of hit series Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist (2014), Sia met and became close friends with many of the cast, especially creator Joey Ansah, who taught him more about the industry, acting, and filmmaking. They continue to work and train together all the time. Since then, Sia has gone on to train professionally as an Actor, and have experience as an Actor, Stuntman and Fight Choreographer on many acknowledged productions, racking up an unusually large variety of experience for his age.
