Shingari is well known actress and artist in the South Asian community. She began her career as a classical dancer with extensive training in Bharatanatyam beginning at the young age of four. By age thirteen, she began teaching and sharing her passion for dance with her own students. This passion continued throughout her college years as she continued to conduct classes and served as the captain of St John's University's South Asian dance team, RAAZ.After completing university, Shingari then opened her very own Bollywood dance school, Shingari's School of Rhythm, in Houston, TX in 2008. The school has since expanded across the states to locations such as Chicago, Los Angeles, and the San Francisco Bay area. Beyond that, Shingari has continued to produce and direct various artistic productions throughout the country, which includes a performance dance company comprised of talented local artists.
