Sharon Anne Henderson first set foot in front of the camera as a featured background on Season 5 of "Longmire." The Diné actor got her break in Scott Cooper's "Hostiles" in 2016. Given her Navajo name by the first Navajo physicist, Fred Begay, she worked as a geologist for the Navajo Nation the year before and has worked as a massage therapist on and off for the last 14 years. As an artist, she signs her work DezBaa, "she's going on a raid" in Diné Bizaad.Born in Santa Fe, and raised in Tierra Azul, N.M., she grew up in the tri-cultural area of Northern New Mexico. She danced Ballet Folklorico in high school and appeared only once in a high school drama production of "Our Town."As a child, her favorite dinosaur was the ankylosaurus - the living tank of the late Cretaceous.
