Shantelle Lee Cuevas was born in New York City on March 25 to Dominican parents and considers herself Dominican-American. Throughout her high school career Shantelle remained active participating in sports such as wrestling, cheer-leading, track & field and went on to join a dance team at Syracuse University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. On her own in the big city she booked jobs such as commercials and campaign shoots for Brooklyn Boxing where she put her modeling skills to the task. Her most recent breakout role was acting for a small nonprofit company that also funds Image for College Life Magazine. In this film, REC Snuff Film, she plays Veronika the devious bounty hunter with a bad-ass attitude. This film was created to raise awareness for sex trafficking and premiered in Time Square AMC theater with a special screening just for friends and family.
