Shain E. Thomas, IV, born in Sacramento, California on Friday, 23 March 1973, is the son of J.A.G.attorneys Charles Henry Graham Thomas and Helen Louise Woods Thomas.Shain returned to the United States in 2001.The Thomas family lived in Falls Church, Virginia until 1975. Both of Shain's parents retired from the military in 1975.Upon retiring from the military, the Thomas family relocated to Glasgow, Scotland. Shain attended a private boarding school.In July 2011, Shain graduated from Richland College, a campus of the Dallas County Community College District, with an Associate in Arts.During his time at Richland College, Shain completed The Honors College certifications for both the four and seven course levels of The Honors College program. In addition, Shain also completed both the 30 and 40 hour levels of the Service Learning Program.With his Associate in Arts completed, Shain transferred to the Texas Christian University in the Fall of 2011.Whilst attending TCU, Shain wrote for the TCU Daily Skiff, the university newspaper. Moreover, Ryan Osborne, a then sophomore journalism major at TCU, featured Shain in an article that was written for the TCU magazine Image.In May 2014, Shain graduated from UNT with a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies. The main focus of this degree was geography, history, and political science. After taking the Fall 2012 semester off, Shain transferred from TCU to University of North Texas.On Aug 25 2014, Shain attended the first course in what will help him attain a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. The primary focus of this degree is journalism. The secondary foci of this degree are criminal justice and history.Shain has aspirations of attending either CUNY School of Law in New York, Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth, or UNT Dallas College of Law.
