Sean was born on March 24, 1961, the son of James & Patricia Marrinan in Tarrytown, NY. He attended Sleepy Hollow High School where he played leads in "The Philadelphia Story" and "Kiss Me, Kate." At the age of 14 he traveled to NYC to attend Meisner classes with Bill Hickey, and at Gately-Poole Studios. Sean was cast from hundreds of hopefuls for a national tour with Rutgers University's Shoestring Players.In 1990, he moved to New Paltz, New York, met his future wife Stephanie, and joined John Burdick with The Magnificent Glass Pelican Audio theatre. Sean & John still do "their little half-hour show" today. In the late 1990s Sean earned his Actors' Equity card at Shadowland Theatre playing Dr. Rob Stein. Other roles at Shadowland include Nicodemus in "The Mystery of Irma Vep," Charlie in "Stones in His Pockets," The Ladies in "Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr: (abridged)," and Hal in "Accomplice." He is a natural at physical comedy.Sean has performed in numerous theatrical productions in the Hudson Valley, as well as a Core Grip on NBC's "30 Rock" since Season 3.
