Grew up in the Chicago suburb of Rolling Meadows. Scott studied Theater at Chicagos Columbia College. He pursued a career as a singer with the band Main Street prior to beginning his theater career. After performances in such shows as "Death Trap", "Showboat" and "Follies", Scott starred as Sweeney Todd in the show of the same name, for which he received the coveted Joseph Jefferson Award (the Chicago equivalent of the Tony). He has continued to appear star in stage productions, most recently as Karenin in the Midwest premier of the musical version of "Anna Karenina". Television viewers in suburban Chicago may remember Scott as producer and co-host of the magazine show, "Take One", during the early 1980s. He has also appeared on the series "Midnight Caller" (which starred his high school buddy, Gary Cole) and in TV commercials. Show less «
