Sarena Khan is a producer and writer based in Los Angeles. She grew up on film sets in India where her father, B.J. Khan, was a highly acclaimed producer and director. It was when she was nine years old and on the set of his movie, Bollywood, that she fell in love with film and the epic proportions of storytelling.Sarena has her B.F.A. from The University of Southern California where she studied film and theatre. Her most recent producing credits include the feature film, Wild Man. Her new feature, Human Terrain, has just been awarded the 2016 Tribeca Film Institute Sloan Filmmaker Grant.
