Sarah Murphree was born in Nashville, TN. At 14, she was accepted into a performing arts magnet high school for her gift in the arts. There she studied theatre, dance and improv. At the age of 17, she was one of twenty teenagers selected in the Southeast to be apart of a traveling improv troupe. For two years she wrote, directed and performed in humorous sketches to raise awareness about teen issues.She graduated sum cum lade from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a degree in journalism and double minor in theatre and screenwriting. After college, she worked as a photojournalist in developing countries using her gift of storytelling to document global poverty in Haiti, Ecuador and Nepal.Eventually, Sarah moved to Los Angles, enrolling in Sara Mornell Studios. She began taking improv at UCB and studied stand up comedy at The Comedy Clinic and Flappers Comedy Club, starring in a handful of short films, TV shows, booking over twenty commercials, and was the leading lady in Fall Out Boys Music Video of the Year in 2014 "Uma."
