Fluent in English, Russian and Finnish, Sara's upbringing was both multicultural and infused with a love for the arts. Born and raised in Finland to an Azerbaijani mother and Finnish father, she started performing at an early age, playing the violin since age four and traveling overseas for concerts during her childhood. As a teenager, she moved to Helsinki to study at the Pop&Jazz Conservatory to pursue her love for singing, and at one point participating in Finnish Idol - Finland's version of American Idol - and making it to the semi-finals. Following graduation and starring in lead roles at local theaters in Finland, she was accepted to the prestigious William Esper Studio in New York City, where she completed a two-year Meisner acting program. Since then she has kept on working on her craft in NY & LA, booked roles in films, TV and commercials in LA and Finland, and worked as a songwriter for producers and artists.
