Growing up as an only child in Vienna, Austria, Sandra found many ways to occupy herself as a young girl. Staging plays and dances, writing poems and memorizing songs from musicals and TV films and then performing them in the living room, provided plenty of entertainment for family and friends. Her endless energy, creativity and special ear for rhythm, encouraged her eastern European parents to enroll her in the Vienna State Opera Ballet School, where she spent the next 9 years training to become a ballerina. The demanding curriculum, although tailored after the Vaganova schools in Russia, also offered Acting, Singing, Fencing and other styles of Dance such as Jazz, Modern, Ballroom - and Historical Dance. Sandra's expressiveness and early exposure on stage lead her to win many scholarships at the International Dance weeks in Vienna and the Ecole DE Dance Classique DE Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo and years later at the Edge Performing Art Center in Hollywood. The rest of her childhood and teenage years were marked finishing high school, dancing and acting in many classical Ballets, Operas and TV shows with famous performers such as R. Nurejev, The Bolschoi Ballet, Luciano Pavarotti, Klaus Maria Brandauer, Tom Jones, Celine Dion and other European and American legends. Beside a rigorous training and performing schedule, Sandra got her first movie role in an American production of the Richard Strauss saga as a can-can girl. During a Theater Production of Andre Heller, where she enjoyed a comedic role as a maid at the very prestigious Raimund Theater, she was approached by a modeling scout from Ford N.Y., offering a modeling contract in Paris and New York. Wanting to explore more and travel the world, Sandra went on a series of modeling assignments across Europe, Africa, Thailand, Australia and Japan, before moving to the U.S. A scholarship at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Hollywood encouraged her to move to Los Angeles where she soon enjoyed several years of studying acting with Ellen Geer at the Theatricum Botanicum and Michelle Danner at the Larry Moss Studio in Santa Monica. Getting her first break in a TV commercial for Noxima followed by a live performance at the comedy arts festival in Aspen, opposite Rodney Dangerfield, Sandra's comedic timing and feeling for dramatic moments led to many roles in other prime time TV shows such as Las Vegas, Friends, General Hospital, Young & The Restless, Maggy and big production movies like Showgirls, The Big Lebowski, The Singing Detektive, A.I., The Island and Rumor Has. She has also hosted the 75th+ 80th Academy Awards as a trophy presenter and has been a spokes model for Lamborghini since 2006 at red-carpet events and media presentations. Sandra's love for writing has lead her to work for magazines reviewing live performances, charity events, fashion shows and movies. She has also represented designers during Fashion week in New York, Los Angeles, Paris and speaks German, French, English and Serbian fluently. Show less «
