Sam Swanson is an award winning actor-improviser-musician from Fort Worth, TX living in New York. He studied Drama at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR, where he fostered his love for long-form improv. Sam has studied and performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade, and has previously appeared in a variety of stage productions at Circle Theatre, Theater Three, Stage West, Amphibian Stage Productions, Dallas Children's Theatre and Undermain Theatre. Sam has also appeared in various TV shows, films, commercials, and music videos, both on-camera (including roles in USA Network's Queen of the South, Investigation Discovery's The First Kill, and Forever the Sickest Kids' music video "Nikki"), and as a voice actor in several anime TV shows featured on Adult Swim, including One Piece, Ninja Slayer, and Attack on Titan.Sam is also a musician and multi-instrumentalist (his Rickenbacker bass guitar and Korg MS2000 synthesizer are his weapons of choice). His most recent collaborative project, Blank-Men, had their music featured on an episode of Tony Hawk's online video series Ride, and has opened for acts like The Toadies, The Briefs, Hagfish, and Radioactivity.When not performing, Sam dabbles in video production and editing.
