Sam Rahmani was born in London, England and grew up between Canada and Jordan. She started acting at age 11 when she played a small role in Guys & Dolls and wrote her first script which she performed and directed. While in school, she stayed involved in theatre and performed in multiple musicals including The Wiz, Rent and Fame.Recently, Sam appeared in Child Bride which screened at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner. She also played the role of Lamma in the new television series Little America, written and produced by Kumail Nanjiani and set to stream on Apple TV+.Sam is fluent in Arabic and speaks both Iraqi and Levantine dialects.
