Sam is a graduate in directing fiction from the National Film & Television School, as well as History & Political Science from Trinity College Dublin. Sam gained experience acting and directing on stage in Ireland, before making a number of short films that have premiered internationally at festivals like Camerimage International Film Festival, and Clermont-Ferrand Festival du Court Métrage.His narrative fiction work focuses on examining humans in surreal or fantastical settings, using multilayered storytelling that twists and turns towards unexpected conclusions.
