Robia Deville is mentored by Hollywood Director and Screenwriter Chase Palmer. The two have worked together in the past back in 2004 on a project titled "Shock and Awe." Both remained in contact ever since."Networking is very important in this business" - Robia Deville. Before Deville caught his big break in Hollywood, he was tied up in a totally different lifestyle of criminal activity such as drug dealing, escorting and abusing heavy drugs. Deville was a heroin addict for fifteen years before one day cops came raiding his house. A part of that story can be found in the Long Island Herald News. The same newspaper that once held his mugshot on the front cover. After the raid, Deville was sent away for eight months. He spent three months at Nassau County Correctional and was later transferred upstate for another five months at a residential facility. He was granted early release after news broke out his younger brother Ramy Elkhatib passed away at twenty-six years old from a possible drug overdose. Two months after his brothers burial, Deville reached out to Chase Palmer asking if they could meet over coffee- The two met at a café in Manhattan. After two hours of conversation, Chase Palmer decided to take Deville under his wing and has been giving him a hand, breaking-in the industry ever since. Besides acting, Robia Deville also been working on a movie script under Palmers wing as well. He hopes in the years to come that people will become inspired by his story."I hope years from now, someone gives a thank you speech and mentions me as someone who gave them hope." - Robia Deville
