Robert Edward Way was born in Fayetteville, NC. Raised in Keene, NH. home of the well known film Jumanji. He is the son of prominent master artist; Atelier Robert Henry Way of Pinehurst, NC. and Virginia Dunton of Keene, NH. Robert is the oldest in a family of eight children, comprising of four sisters and three step brothers. After a stint in the Marines as a Combat Engineer and a Remote Sensor Specialist he worked in many jobs.Working as a freelance photographer for a few years Robert got into live concert photography and has had the opportunity to do some assistant camera work with well known Rock TV personality, Jimmy Cantina of Cantina TV, Lima Peru. For two years Robert traveled with Cantina all over the east coast doing interviews with famous rock stars in bands such as Slaughter, Whitesnake, Exodus, Hardcore Superstar, Michael Monroe (Hanoi Rocks), Doro Pesch (Warlock), Michale Graves (Misfits), Max Cavalera (Soulfly), Anvil, Keb Mo, The Subhumans UK, Street Dogs, and Sick Of It All to name a few.Robert also worked as a band promoter and freelance photojournalist for VT & NH music magazine Cider Mag. He wrote articles about bands local to the east coast and did reviews. He has interviewed and became friends over the years with many people in the music industry with his own production company at the time called DoubleHorns - Presents. Putting on concerts and promoting local bands from North Dakota all the way to the heartland in the deep woods of Maine, to Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. He has interviewed and taken photos of such bands as The Johnny Earthquake Band, Vapors of Morphine, AKACOD, Conscious Cadaver, Devils Nite Out, Humdinger & The Bucksnort, Lobotomobile, Lich King, Crowbar, Battlecross, Bottlefight, It Destroys And Kills, Indecent Exposure, Opposition Out, The Knock Ups, The Burnouts, Ole Factory, Shallow Ground, Dirty Rotten Imbeciles, Goblet, Morpheus, The Labor Pains, Babytaker, Chodus, Candy Striper Death Orgy, Reckless Force, Fall of Time, Blind Threat, Imperium Mortis, Down, Middleson, ARSB, Legacy of Disorder and many more.After moving to Columbia, TN in 2016, Robert bought a home and decided to go back to college at 48 years old to pursue a career in the film industry. Robert says he always wanted to do some acting. Robert wanted more out of his camera. So he became a Film Crew Technology Student at Columbia State Community College taught by renowned producer David Steven Smith and well-known lighting genius John Sprague. Learning the motion picture industry from below the line, based on the the California model of the film business, Robert caught the bug and has been working on sets of many short films, features and has done some broadcasting for live college basketball games.His dream is to be a great actor
