Rita Rucker was born on June 18 in Fontana, California. As a child growing up in Morrow, Georgia Rita was very active with many scholarly and extracurricular activities throughout grade school. The dramatic arts chose Rita at the young age of 9 where she was able to get her first taste of the stage life at the Clayton County Performing arts Center performing in "Once on this Island" and "Annie". It wasn't until after returning to her birthplace, attending her first two years of college at California State University San Bernardino, and being 1 of 2 Theater Scholarship recipients, that Rita started to consider acting as a serious career. Now relocated back in the Atlanta area Rita is still making moves in the Southeast's growing entertainment industry.; some of her most notable acting and on-camera training comes from the Actor's Breakthrough under the leadership of Emmy Award-winning GregAlan Williams.
