Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Rick Mattoon is a well-known national trainer, spokesperson and up and coming actor, working steadily in Phoenix and Hollywood since his first national television role in 2002.Rick spent most of his youth observing and being inspired by his older and younger sisters, Donna and Sherry, working in hospital settings. His love and concern for people naturally peaked his interest in the health profession. Wanting to advance himself and help others like his sisters, Rick found time to attend and graduate from the Mayo School of Allied Sciences in Rochester, Minnesota. Over the years, his work experience has been diverse, to say the least, from performing and teaching advanced radiological procedures in emergency medicine, to being a counselor in a chemical dependency center, to owning a successful national corporate training company, Rick has aspired to become the true entrepreneur while sharing his excitement for life with others.As fate would have it, while attending one of Rick's many training venues, a Los Angeles casting director noticed his strong persona and stage presence. Soon after, his acting career was on the move and so was he.
