Reyna Cuellar, a graduate of The Art Institute of Dallas with a Bachelor's degree in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production is an award winning filmmaker. Born in Dallas, Texas, she grew up really close to her father Jesus Cuellar an actor, writer and producer. Her father would often take her to the set where she developed a passion for filmmaking.In 2011 Cuellar won the Film of the year award at the Art Institute of Dallas for her film Emily and it would be the first of many more to come. In 2012 she won the first place award at the Dallas International Film Festival TXU for her film Domi Cile. Amok won 3rd place at The Art Institute Horror Film and Right of the Line won best faith-based film at the The Glen Rose Relix Film Festival. She has received several nominations at the Dallas Women in Film Chick Flicks Festival including Right of the Line and City Waltz.Reyna has an undeniable talent that has been recognized by the most prestigious organizations in film where she forms part, such as Woman in Film Dallas, The Dallas Producers Association, and The Dallas Film Society. Her passion for filmmaking has also given her the opportunity to volunteer at many of the film festivals in her hometown such as, The Dallas International Film Festival, Dallas VideoFest, and The Oak Cliff Film Festival.In 2014 she decided to further enhance her education and attended the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, CA. After finishing her education at the New York Film Academy, Reyna took an internship position for a prestigious Marketing Firm where they were able to recognize her talent and quickly moved from an internship position to forming part of the company. There she formed part of the Cesar Chavez marketing film campaign where she was able to successfully complete her duties and go out on the field to film large events and interview talent such as Diego Luna (director) and Paul Chavez (son of Cesar Chavez). After Cesar Chavez Reyna had the opportunity to work on other marketing projects such as Penguins of Madagascar, Road to the open and the TV show Cristela. In addition to that experience she also worked with uniFrance helping launch The French Film Festival USA premiering in 10 U.S. cities.After her success in Los Angeles, CA., Reyna has now launched her very own production company: Pixel Pattern Productions, where she plans to continue her passion for filmmaking and art.
