Regis has been acting since he was a child in various plays, and in television and film (either as a background performer, or principal actor) for his entire adult life. He can be seen in the film Tommy Boy (starring the late Chris Farley) standing next to Mr. Farley checking his grades early in the film. It was his love of performing which led to him performing stand up comedy, gaining him more opportunities and stage time. He can still be found taking to the comedy stage between acting gigs, and has preformed across Canada and in a live show which was Skyped down to Ecuador. It was his convincing acting abilities which also had him recruited as a secret agent for approximately eight years, between 2002 and 2010. During that time he was unable to take any traditional acting roles so, when his mission had finally wrapped, he was very keen to return to performing for audiences and in the spotlight, instead of for his life, and in the shadows. He continues to look for roles with which to challenge himself, and to find ways with which to balance his career and aspirations, with spending time with, and caring for his family. Show less «
