Ramello Barnes was born on June 15, 1976 in Chicago ,Illinois. He's the fourth oldest of nine children a Evangelist mother, and a Baptist minister father. While attending William Penn elementary he caught the acting bug while appearing in student drama productions where he continue to land the lead role and, after graduating (1991) he attended Farrgut high school there is where he developed his talents as a comedian. Ramello was always known to be funny even at a early age. He left Farrgut and on to pursue his career as a stand up comedian and landed his first gig on stage at the Miller Genuine Draft comedy contest. He competed against 50 comedians to place in and was later eliminated. After competing he decided he wanted to manage comedians and help them with their careers. He begin to book comics for Television/film and tours such as Apollo, Bet's Comic view, Late night with David Letterman, Walter Latham The Next Kings and Queens of comedy search Tour, Kevin Hart's one mic stand, Jamie Foxx's laffapalooza, Tv one Bill Bellamy Who got Jokes, P. Diddy Bad boys of comedy, Martin Lawrence 1st Amendment, and Shaq's Next Allstars to name a few.He continued his acting career landing small roles in independent films ,in 2012 Barnes goes on to land his first paid role on the big screen in the feature film Note To Self. Working beside Clifton Powell ,Latoya Luckett, Brian McKnight, Christian Keyes, Richard T Jones and Jason Weaver this was the launch in his career. Ramello continue to land roles in music videos like blues legend Floyd Taylor as the abusive boy friend and infomercials. Continuing on doing background work on Dick Wolf's Chicago TV show's Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago Justice, and a reoccurring dressed uniformed police officer on Chicago PD. Also worked as background on Fox's APB and Empire.2017 Ramello connects with Hip Hop legend Master P and lands himself a opportunity to become one of the writers for the sequel. I Got The Hook Up 2 he also lands himself a role in the film. He goes on to co-write several movies for Master P Ramello lives in (Chicago) as he continue to pursue his dream as more opportunities are available since Cinespace film studios moved into the city.
