Rachel Noll is a multiple award-winning screenwriter, actress and filmmaker and co-founder of the female-focused production company Emergence Films. Rachel wrote, produced and starred in the feature film 'Don't Pass Me By' that won "Best Feature Writer" at the LA Femme Festival where it premiered, and was released worldwide in 2013. She wrote and produced "PAGE Screenwriting Awards" Silver Prize Winner 'The Storyteller,' and the multiple award-winning short film 'Paramnesia' which was released as part of the acclaimed horror anthology "Fun Size Horror." Rachel made her directorial debut with the short film 'Half Light.' This film put her in consideration for a directing fellowship with HBO, and landed her as a quarter-finalist in the NexTV directing talent search, as well as serving as a calling card for her unique voice as a director. Emergence Films has a revolving slate of projects in development and production, all with a focus on the female gaze, giving opportunities to women in key creative roles, and featuring strong, complex female characters.
