Born in Tehran, Iran, Pourya Rahbar developed and harbored a fascination with the fantastic at an early age, as his imagination was challenged and stretched by Disney, and other fantasy films, translated into Farsi. Transplanted to America shortly after the Iranian revolution, his family traversed the country from the East Coast to the West, and ultimately planted their flag in San Diego. Frustrated by his inability to conform to structured work life like his peers, and all the time being drawn to the creative, and lost in imagination, Pourya habitually questioned his station in life, until he succumbed to his nature and yielded to his dreams of being an actor. "Being able to present stories in various forms, be it acting, writing, music, etc that affect the emotional state of other human beings is where my passion lies". Despite his late beginnings on his new path, he has appeared and starred in several short films with accolades. Pourya is continually fueling his passion by studying and training in his art forms when not involved with a project, in order to grow quickly and make the greatest impact possible during his lifetime.
