Paul was born in 1974 in the small town of Conisbrough, South Yorkshire. From an early age he loved to go to the theatre and at the age of 14 he decided to step 'behind the curtain'. After spending 4 years with Doncaster's Phoenix Youth Theatre, he left the acting world behind and trained as an office manager.A chance meeting led him to step back on stage in 2010 in musical theatre, where he enjoyed 3 years of singing tenor in many productions, including memorable stints as the pantomime villain in Jack and the Beanstalk and Red Riding Hood.An advert in a local paper in 2012 asked for extras to play the roles of zombies in an independent horror film - and the rest is history. This film was the award winning 'Book of the Dead: The Eschatrilogy' and after this first taste of life on a film set Paul has gone from extra, to support artist, to featured and lead roles in a very short space of time.Paul bucks the trend and while his stock in trade is always 'the bad guy' because of his size and intimidating look, his best roles are where he has played the 'guy next door' and the bumbling, 'shy guy' role.
