Patrice Ortega is a French actor. Born in Toulouse, he began acting at the age of 15 and music at the age of 16. Graduate of the Cave Poésie René Gouzenne and Music'Halle schools in Toulouse (France), he has practiced his art in both these fields for the past 25 years, with visits to street theatre, clown and puppet companies to satisfy his natural curiosity and expand his artistic knowledge. He has also performed voice-over work for corporate and institutional projects.On stage, he has played characters from the works of Jean-Michel Ribes, Claude Magnier, Thierry Manuel, Didier Caron and has taken part in many improv shows. Currently, he is performing with his own company, La Bande à Propos, in the improvisational show "Le joyeux Bazar", of which he is the co-author. He is also performing in the role of the massager Philippe Dubois in Claude Magnier's "Oscar".He has performed as screen actor in several award-winning short films selected in various French and international festivals, and works for television in docu-fictions.Patrice Ortega is also a guitarist and a singer. He has played in various formations since the age of 20 and has tried out different styles of music (blues, rock, jazz, reggae, folk music, etc.); he plays regularly with his own band, the "Tom Souville Band", performing well-known soul and funk music. His passion embraces classical music, performing in particular works of Tarrega, Albeniz and Bach.For two years now, he has visited Los Angeles for training at the Ivana Chubbuck School and attended acting coach Bernard Hiller's International Masterclasses.
