Olivia Ancona is a professional contemporary dancer, certified Gaga teacher, movement coach, and multi-disciplinary performer. Trained at Juilliard, Olivia has performed internationally as a company member for Batsheva Dance Company, founding member of Sharon Eyal's company L-E-V, guest dancer with Pina Bausch's company Tanztheater-Wuppertal, soloist for the Royal Swedish Ballet, as well as Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's Belgian group Eastman among many others.Olivia has participated in short films for Hermès and choreographer Alexander Ekman. Olivia appeared in and was featured on the poster for the multi-award-winning documentary about Ohad Naharin, artistic director of Batsheva. Most recently Olivia danced, coached and acted in Luca Guadagnino's 2018 remake of Suspiria. Born in San Francisco and raised in Portland, OR and London, she currently freelances internationally out of Berlin.
