Olia Voronkova was born in the northern Russian town of Oktyabrsk. Her mother is the principal of two schools and her father is both a photographer and a saxophone player.It was at the age of 12 when Olia would begin to explore the world of acting. In her neighborhood, crowds would gather to watch her perform sketches which she created. When Olia started attending St. Petersburg University of External Economic Links, Economics and Law she joined the Drama Club. It would be while participating in numerous theatrical productions that she realized acting was her passion.After graduating from her University with honors in 2008, Olia made a bold decision. She decided to pursue her dream of becoming an actress by moving to New York City. Soon after her arrival, Olia landed minor roles in films "As Good As Dead" and "Speed Musing". Olia loved New York, but knew and felt in her heart that she belonged somewhere else. In October 2009, Olia moved to Los Angeles.Since her arrival in the City of Angels, Olia has made numerous appearances on television shows, in movies and commercials. She co-owns a production company with her partner. Their main focus is to make positive and inspiring short films and webisodes.
