Nick Griffin is a stand-up comedian and writer living in New York City. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, born December 23rd, 1966, Nick comes from a large family and grew up in the mid west. In 1987 he began his stand up career and soon thereafter, circa 1990, moved to New York City where he began performing stand up at various comedy clubs (Greenwich Village; Gotham among others). During the next several years spent here the young comic's career began to pick up more speed. Soon he would move to Los Angeles, attaining work which included not only stand up on televised specials (Comedy Central Premium Blend) and late night shows (Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, Late Show with David Letterman) but also comedy writing (The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show; Bobby Slayton and Sue Murphy Morning Radio, et al). This and a great deal of sell out touring nationwide and overseas, including his recent headliner performance in Hong Kong summer of 2015 (ref. MGM Grand events; Honk Kong Magazine, July 2015) in addition to more televised shows such as Conan (two appearances as of 2015) has brought the comic praise and highly respected reputation in the comedy circuit. As of 2015, Nick Griffin's performance count on the Late Show with David Letterman reached a total of twelve (12) times, the final being on Friday, April 3rd, 2015 (Ref. Getty Images and CBS). Nick Griffin has received praise and positive reviews for his delivery, writing, performances whether such be live, televised, via the artist's own iTunes releases (Bring Out The Monkey, Shot In The Face; Ref. iTunes and Rooftop Productions), or delivered via other outlets. The comedian's overall humor style encompasses cynicism of life issues like relationships, depression, technology (smart phones), attention spans, sex, and more.
