Nana Kagale Kagga; (also known as 'Nana Kagga-Hill' or known as 'Nana Hill' or known as 'Nana Hill Kagga' or 'Nana Kagga-Macpherson') is a Ugandan filmmaker, Content creator, Scriptwriter, Petroleum Engineer, motivational speaker and actress. She studied in both in Uganda and United Kingdom. She has a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, UK. During her summer holidays, she was a presenter for Jam Agenda on WBS, a popular Ugandan TV Show.Nana's father is a prominent Engineer in Uganda. In addition to her father and maternal grandfather, four of her siblings are also engineers. Nana is a sister to Meme Kagga and is known as the more extrovert and entertaining /fun one.Nana moved to the US from Florida to New Mexico. In New Mexico, she worked as a Process Engineer. She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting and presenting career and enjoyed some success. Nana was cast in a number of films including Cowboys and Indians , A Good Day to Be Black & Sexy (Segment 'Reprise'), He's Just Not That Into You, Star Trek. She was also cast on US TV on CSI: NY - Boo, Life, Runway Stars. In US Theatre, Nana was cast as Mercy in the play, Butterflies of Uganda by Darren Dahms which was nominated for an NAACP award. Nana appeared in several music videos including for PINK, Amy Winehouse, Sting, Lenny Kravitz. Nana also appeared in several TV ads including for KFC, Coors Light, Pepsi, DSW, Micro-soft, Apple, Tylenol, DOVE. While in L.A, Nana also co-owned a vintage and designer resale store on Santa Monica Blvd called A Vintage Affair.In Uganda, Nana and Meme set up Savannah MOON, a content production business, that has created produced a full-length feature film The Life (2012) which was shown on M-NET, a TV Series Beneath the Lies, showing on Urban TV and digitally distributed by MTN Uganda and a TV Program, How We See It. Nana also is keen on motivating young Africans and has created an initiative, You Are Limitless (YAL), which aims to motivate, guide and encourage Africans, especially the youth to achieve their full potential. Through her brand, ACTA.Talent, she manages and nurtures actors and actresses. Nana also works as a Petroleum Engineer for one of the large Oil & Gas companies operating in Uganda. Nana resides in Kampala, Uganda and is fluent in English and Luganda.
