Naiyah D. Scaife is a Minneapolis, Minnesota native who has been acting since the age of five. Her very first audience was her kindergarten classmates. They would rather watch her play house then listen to the teacher at story time. Her love for acting started in community theater around the twin cities, and she considers herself a tenacious and proactive actress. One who loves and respects her craft. Bringing characters to life and allowing them the freedom to roam is truly her happy place.She recently portrayed Lady Blue in the award winning short film Atone. "Sometimes you're lucky enough to find a major talent before they take flight," says Director Damion L. Smith of Naiyah's performance in Atone. In addition Naiyah starred in her first feature film "Imago" a film that focuses on human trafficking in the US. She has also had the honor of being recognized by casting director Tracy "Twinkie" Byrd; as well as, actor Omari Hardwick by winning a monologue slam in 2012. She currently splits her time between Los Angeles and Chicago working diligently to bring her dreams to life.
