Award-winning Chinese actress Nadia Hatta was born in Taiwan and emigrated to Canada at a young age. She is best known for her leading role as Queen Babylon in "Babylon Fog"( Ba Bi Lun Mi Wu (2013) ) by acclaimed Chinese director Chuan Lu. Nadia recently starred in Sea to Sky (2017), a Chinese-language comedy shot in Vancouver. Her other film credits include Honeymoon Suite (2013), "The Owl Club," and A Part Apart (2012) and she played Sheila, the lead spy assassin in the acclaimed CCTV-produced TV series "Surfaced." Nadia's unique look and fluency in English, Chinese, French and Italian enable her to play roles of different ethnicities.As a television host, Nadia's Chinese-language skills led her to Beijing, where she was a VJ for MTV ASIA. At MTV, she produced, directed, wrote and hosted the seven-episode New York Fashion Week special entitled "Nadia in New York." She has also hosted Discovery Channel's "Travel," the award- winning bilingual TV teen show "E4Kids," and the Living Golden Bell Award-winning Travel Show Fun Taiwan (2006) which reached over two billion viewers in Asia. She has hosted red carpet, fashion and music events, including the 2016 Weibo Awards in Beijing and is developing an online lifestyle series about healthy living trends, soon to be launched in Asia.Nadia earned a BFA in Experimental Theatre from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
