With a Puerto Rican father and British Mother, playwright, actress, writer and director Monique Carmona has a strong craving to tell complex, compelling stories. Having worked in theater, commercials, VO and film as an actress in San Francisco, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she continues to collaborate and stretch as an artist and storyteller, writing, acting and producing content for the stage and screen. Monique has had the opportunity to work closely with David Milch - first on Deadwood and then in writing capacity on John From Cincinnati. More recently she has written the short film "Forgive Me" that she is directing and is also in development with two other projects.
