Its been a few years since Miredys released her so awaited album "Simply Miredys" under Mathew Knowles' record company Music World Entertainment; jump starting a fruitful musical career. Now she's excited for the release of her 2nd musical production.Her talent and dedication took her to open Beyonce's concert "The Experience Tour" in Monterrey, Mexico. Miredys, also well-known as "M" was known abroad by her collaborations with artists such as Foxy Brown in "I Need Man" and LL Cool J "#1 fan". Also by her musical work in films like "Alpha Dog", but one of the outstanding moments in her young career was when she Co-wrote and sang a duet with Lionel Richie called "In My Dreams" for the album "Just For You". Making her the 2nd female after Diana Ross to make a duet with the well recognized singer-songwriter.Music producer David Foster gave Miredys her first opportunity as a back up singer for Toni Braxton, marking the beginning of an incredible career.Although her passion has always been music, she jump-started her artistic career as a model in Puerto Rico. After reaching a super model status; heading many advertising campaigns around the island, she decided to participate in the most re-known pageant in her country. Representing the town of Isabela she won the title of 1st runner up for Miss. Puerto Rico Universe which took her to represent her country in the Miss. Intercontinental 1999 in Germany.At the highest point of her career as model she made the courageous decision to transfer to Los Angeles, California to finally follow her dream. Miredys continued working as model serving as spokesmodel for brands such as Pantene, and she was chosen as the "Gold member girl" in Austin Powers 3, and even participated in the UPN comedy "The Parkers" where she made her debut as an actress with the role of Amira: thus showing her incredible and unquestionable talent in this field. Her drive did not stay there. Nowadays as part of her growth in the industry, Miredys branched into the entrepreneurial field with her own line of accessories called M. Accessories. This venture comes out as a result of her love for fashion and her unique personal style. Simultaneously this line serves her as platform to support her beloved foundation Proyecto Arcoiris, a non-profit organization that Miredys created in Puerto Rico to support and give information to women dealing with domestic violence. At the same time she is working tirelessly to bring the same project to California under the name "Project Rainbow".
