Miles Mussenden was born on January 17 in London, England to parents from the Caribbean. Britain born and Brooklyn bred; Miles grew up on the streets of New York with his mother and siblings. At the age of nine, Miles landed his first role as Fagan in Oliver Twist. He spent the following years in the world of theater, ultimately attending the New York Academy of Dramatic Arts and touring various plays. After high school, Miles stepped off the stage and into the studio starting Two Friends Records and GrassRoots Entertainment. He produced reggae, hip-hop and R&B artists including Shabba Ranks and Dennis Brown. Miles returned to the acting scene in 2011 where he played the reluctant notification officer Sgt. Bennett Billings on the hit ABC drama Army Wives. This pivotal role launched his on-screen career. In the years following, he portrayed a wide range of roles in film and TV often playing opposite Academy and Emmy Award winning actors. Miles resides in New York City and Atlanta, where he directs and produces multiple projects in different stages of development. He also teaches and mentors upcoming actors. Miles can be seen in projects such as Queen Sugar, Spider-man Homecoming, I, Tonya, Meagan Leavey and more. His recreational interests include traveling.
