Born in Aurora, Colorado Mikki started out as a military brat before spending her formative years in Bethel, Connecticut. As a high school student her family moved to Orlando, Florida where she has raised her three children and had some lucky breaks as an actor. Over the last ten years she has focused on learning some of the ins and outs of the industry from behind the camera. At 50 she attempted college but found it best to skip the humiliation of young teachers too impatient to deal with the old students and resorted to you tube tech where her replay button got plenty of use. For the last 5 years she has created valued work on her DSLR and recently graduated to a grown up cinematic camera. She has produced her own work in the theater, directed commercial work, cast and shot for several artists including her husband at Great Big Circle, Inc and Emmy award winning Sylvia Caminer at Dolger Films. She continues to stay in classes to keep her acting chops up and is writing her first screenplay. Mikki now knows her outdated reel would have been impressive had she made it about a decade ago before the recession hit and her teenage boys were giving her a run for the money. She continues her life long love of travel, and passion for people different from her own while dreaming of the day she tells her first cinematic story. Show less «
