Growing up in the small, trite sub-urban compound formula of a city known as Easton in very eastern Pennsylvania, Mike Stewart had not found himself until in the tenth grade when he picked up his first camcorder. Back in 2002, the digital mini-dv model was exploding onto the consumer media market scene, but at age 16 and about 33 dollars in his pocket on a typical day, he had to settle with a VHS-C model. For it was not the greatest electronic piece of equipment in the world, but at least it was a start. An interest in acting came along with the initial interest in recording once he decided that he would like to be in his movies as well. In the fall of 2004, Mike enrolled into the Television/Radio Production program at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, PA. Competitive classmates made Mike's engine work extra hard to create some crazy and surreal works to showcase to his classmates and professors. Never the one to be satisfied, Mike kept developing ideas for his next big creation while he was attending Kutztown University from fall of 2006 to the fall of 2009. In the spring of 2007, his independent film had begun and it was titled, "Mr. Blue Shirt." A fantasy/adventure about men who picked up these coins and became cursed, but all 6 men had to meet in order to save their land from the Dark Prism natural disaster; and no one has ever met Mr. Blue Shirt, the one the other 5 needed to find. He believed in order to have success, he needed to produce something on his own and anything artistic made from Kutztown was not going to separate him from someone else. A sequel film had started and then wrapped in the spring of 2010. Mike recruited and met more and more people at a ridiculous rate for his "Blue Shirt Empire," as he calls it when the era of the third film started in the summer of 2011. He often tells people that the first two films were just "practice films," and that this one is the real deal and also that it is standalone too. Mr. Blue Shirt: The Inspiration is a film that has been in the process of having been in production for two years and counting and promises to be one of the most insane items of interest ever upon its release.
