Kartvedt has worked with Academy Award Winner Timothy Hutton, Meg Ryan, Marlon Wayans, Danny Glover, Danny Trejo, Ray Romano, Wes Bentley, Winona Ryder, Jamie Pressly, Cedrick the Entertainer, Essence Atkins, John Amos, Joe Lo Truglio and Andy Samburg. He has stunt doubled for acclaimed character actor Daniel Roebuck, as well as, Victor Garber, Zachary Bryan, John Riely, Will McCarthy and Gary Busey. Kartvedt graduated from Valhalla H.S., in El Cajon, CA. He graduated one year ahead of actor, and fellow alumni, Eric Close (Nashville (2012), Without a Trace (2002)). He earned a B.A. degree from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA., graduating in 1989 with actor Matthew Tompkins (Parkland (2013), Prison Break (2006)).
