Michael David Strusievici was born on August 3, 2001 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada where he lives with his parents, big sister Andrea and the family's chocolate lab- Bruno.Michael started auditioning when he was almost four years old and he booked his first role in a commercial right away. More bookings followed and he's been acting ever since, appearing in numerous commercials in Canada and US and movies such as "While She Was Out" with Kim Besinger, "Storm Seekers" where he had a principal role, and the series "The Assistants" and "Reaper". Michael's credits also include voiceover work for "Sesame Street Workshop" and "L: Change the World". In 2009, Michael starred in the Hallmark Channel movie "Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle" where he played a lead role and had the opportunity to work with actress Doris Roberts and actor James Van Der Beek.One of Michael's accomplishments is a guest starring role in the Christmas special episode of the TV Series "Mr. Young" ("Mr. Elf" episode). Michael also had a co-starring role in the TV Series "Fringe" ("The Abducted" episode), "Once Upon a Time" ("That Still Small Voice" episode) and a lead role in the Animation Promo "Sara Solves It". This math and mystery pilot has been picked up by Amazon Studios to be shown on Prime Instant Video and Amazon Instant Video for the public to vote on and give feedback.When he's not on camera, Michael is quite the athlete, playing soccer at the highest level for his age group, swimming or training in martial arts. Michael also enjoys spending time with his friends, reading, playing video games, watching TV, skiing, hiking or hunting with his dad. At school, Michael is a very good student excelling in all the subjects, his very favourite being math.Some other accomplishments are the participation in the Science Stretch program for gifted students (Michael also attended the Write Stretch and Math Stretch programs), the Regional Heritage Fair (Industry Award - 2012; Stellar Achievement Award - 2014) plus the selection into the BCSPL (Premiere League) soccer team for Coastal FC and the green belt in karate that makes him the youngest senior belt in the club.
