It can be said that Melinda Rochelle's acting career took off as a result of a celestial intervention. It was at the tender age of 4 that she had to play an angel in the Christmas production at Delano, California, in a performance that can only be described as "heavenly." Ever since then, she's been fluttering her wings across stages and screens all over the world.She's had starring roles in over 20 feature films, including "Cordially Invited", "Sides", "The People I Slept With" and "Little Saigon." She's also graced our living rooms in numerous television appearances, including "Heartbreak Café" and "The Lost Tapes", and as host to such shows as "Kidd Fitt" "Love and War" and "The Real Hollywood."Amidst all of that, she's also had a varied theatrical career. Melinda was nominated for an ADA Best Actress award for her portrayal of multiple characters in "A Bug, A Log, A Frog and Aesop". She also starred in "The Girls of Summer", which eventually made its way to off Broadway, where Melinda always dreamed of performing. She was also part of the "Diary of a Catholic School Dropout" ensemble that won an ADA for Best Original Play in 2004.Melinda graduated valedictorian from her high school, and magna cum laude from college with her triple major of film, journalism and communications. Combining this with her acting background, she has forayed into producing and is currently producing and starring in the feature film, Novice.Melinda Rochelle has booked a series regular role on the TV pilot "Rick's Parking" for Comedy Central, and she can be seen at Outfest in the pre-selected short film "My Mother's Orphan."
