Melanie Tafila started her journey at the age of 11 when she was with the Helen O'Grady drama academy in Gaborone, Botswana where she acquired the basic foundation of acting. Post secondary, she went to Act Cape Town for her formal training, then began working professionally in Cape Town, South Africa. As an Actress she has appeared in commercial work such Salaam Confidence and Botswana Life insurance, TV series such as "Dwaalster"(2018) and "Wounds"(2021), a feature film, "Cut-Out Girls"(2019) and a few short films such as "Mind Over Matter"(2018) "Fortune cookie" (2021) and "Good parable"(2021) in which she was also the production manager as well as a in a few music videos, notably "Caro - Governor of Africa ft Oxlade" with CMfilmz. Melanie is also a co-founder of a film service company called The Grey Canary and she continues to strive and work hard on and off the performing arts spotlight.
