May Elghety is an Egyptian actress born in Cairo to parents Mohamed Elghity ( writer , journalist and Tv presenter) and Mona Barouma ( writer and Tv presenter ) , May first appeared on Tv when she was 1 year old in ''Al Beshkar''1999 , the series debuted on television 3 years later in 2002 , then starred in minor roles in Tv series '''Al shabaka al mashoura''2003 , ''Awasef Al Nesaa'' 2005 and ''Bent Men El Zaman Da'' 2008 then in the film ''Kabtin Hima''2008 for director Nasr Mahrous , she worked as a child Television presenter in 3 children programs on the National Egyptian Tv channel aka '' Al Fadae'ya Al Masryah'' , then after coming of age , the child star was the lead of a musical preformed on the National Theater Of Cairo called ''Badr el Bedour wa al beer al mashour''2012 , her role as Badr captured the eyes of the audience and critiques as her show continued for 2 years the cast earned 2 recognition awards from the National Theater Conventions in Kuwait and Morocco in the ''Taza Theater Festival''.
