Max Reed III is an actor, writer, and musician. He was born Max Leroy Reed III in Mobile, Alabama to a librarian/actress mother and copywriter/poet father. Max was the youngest of three siblings. Shortly after, they moved to the laid back and untamed woods, swamps, and beaches of Baldwin County, AL. An introspective and empathetic young man, Max was a late bloomer to the performing arts, but when he finally began playing trumpet, bass drum, and bass guitar in middle and high school, he made full use of the free thinking and culturally rich upbringing his parents and older sisters provided him. After receiving a scholarship for bass guitar performance from Faulkner State Community College and acting in several community theatre productions while there, Max decided to pursue acting and music full time. He then received a theatre scholarship from Berry College in Rome, Georgia. After graduating, Max spent many years cutting this teeth in Atlanta, GA. Max now lives in Los Angeles, where he spends his time surfing, writing and performing original music, and co-producing plays and films with his partner, Chelsea. Show less «
